High-Temperature Quartz Cylindrical Crucible
PRODUCT PARAMETERS
Description
Cylindrical Crucibles
These high-purity quartz cylindrical crucible are made from 99.86% high-purity silicon dioxide (SiO₂) fused silica material, using modern precision ceramic technology. They possess excellent high-temperature resistance, thermal shock resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance. The maximum temperature resistance can reach 1680°C. Suitable for laboratory use, high-temperature electric furnaces, vacuum furnaces, induction melting furnaces, and other equipment, they are widely used in the smelting of metals such as silicon, aluminum, and copper, as well as in the glass, ceramics, and new materials industries.
This product line is complete in specifications and supports customization based on drawings or samples. We can also provide cylindrical crucibles made of different materials such as high-purity quartz, mullite, and corundum (alumina) to meet various temperature and process requirements.
Product Features
- Wide Temperature Range and Excellent Thermal Shock Stability
Withstands temperatures ranging from 1600℃ to 1750℃ (quartz 1680℃, mullite 1600℃, corundum 1750℃), with a low coefficient of thermal expansion and low thermal conductivity. It exhibits outstanding resistance to rapid heating and cooling, and is not prone to cracking at high temperatures.
- Strong Thermal Shock Resistance and Long Service Life
The product has a low coefficient of thermal expansion and excellent thermal shock resistance. It can withstand rapid heating and cooling conditions without cracking or deformation, significantly extending the crucible’s service life and improving production stability.
- Smooth Surface, Non-stick and Easy to Clean
Utilizing a high-temperature sintering process, the inner and outer walls are smooth and delicate, preventing molten material adhesion, slag shedding, and sample contamination. This facilitates cleaning and reuse, effectively improving experimental and production efficiency.
- Supports multi-specification customization, stable supply
With mature production technology and a complete inventory system, we can provide a variety of specifications and sizes. We can also customize special sizes, materials and thicknesses according to customer requirements. The supply cycle is stable, meeting the needs of bulk purchases.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- How to choose between the three materials (quartz, mullite, and corundum)?
Choose according to your actual operating temperature and environment: For long-term operating temperatures below 1600℃, high-purity quartz is recommended; for temperatures around 1600℃, mullite is suitable; for temperatures above 1700℃ or extremely high corrosion resistance requirements, 99% corundum crucibles are recommended.
- Which high-temperature furnace equipment is this suitable for?
This product is suitable for box furnaces, muffle furnaces, tube furnaces, vacuum furnaces, atmosphere furnaces, induction melting furnaces, and various laboratory high-temperature heating equipment.
- Is the product prone to cracking?
Fused silica has a low coefficient of thermal expansion and good thermal shock resistance, exhibiting good crack resistance under reasonable usage conditions.
- Do you support custom sizes?
Yes, we can customize production according to customer-provided size requirements, drawings, or samples.
- Are there other material options besides quartz?
