High-Purity Alumina Spouted Round Crucible for High-Temperature Furnaces
PRODUCT PARAMETERS
Description
Round Crucible (with Spout)
A spouted round crucible is a cylindrical ceramic kiln furniture that adds a spout structure to a traditional round crucible. It is mainly used for pouring and transferring molten metal or glass. The product is made of high-purity quartz, mullite, corundum and other refractory materials, and has excellent high-temperature performance and thermal shock resistance.
Spouted crucibles are widely used in non-ferrous metal smelting, die casting, and experimental analysis. The spout can be manufactured using a one-piece molding or bonding process. Isostatically pressed one-piece spouted crucibles have high spout strength, effectively avoiding the problem of weak bonding spouts and significantly extending the crucible’s service life. Some models are designed for use with specialized furnaces, such as tilting furnaces, enabling convenient and automated pouring operations.
Product Features
- Convenient Spout Design for Easy Pouring
The addition of a guide nozzle structure makes material pouring safer and reduces splashing and waste. It is suitable for use with automated equipment such as tilting furnaces. The nozzle has been specially reinforced for high flexural strength and is not easily damaged.
- Multiple Materials, Wide Temperature Range
A variety of materials are available, including high-purity quartz (SiO₂≥99.86%, temperature resistance ≤1680℃), mullite (60~70% alumina, temperature resistance ≤1650℃), and corundum (99% alumina, temperature resistance ≤1750℃), allowing for flexible selection based on the molten material and operating temperature.
- Thermal Shock Resistance, Corrosion Resistance, and Long Service Life
The product features high density and a low coefficient of thermal expansion, enabling it to withstand frequent thermal cycles without cracking or deformation. It also exhibits excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and chemical corrosion, making it suitable for various high-temperature chemical processing applications.
- Multiple specifications available, customization supported
Capacity, size, and material are all selectable. The size of the crucible, the spout size, the wall thickness, and special structures can all be customized to meet the different application needs of laboratories and industrial production.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- What are the advantages of crucibles with spouts?
The spout design allows for more precise pouring of molten metal or liquid materials, reducing splashing and residue, improving pouring efficiency, and simultaneously reducing material loss and operational risks.
- Can different capacities and sizes be manufactured?
Yes. The manufacturer supports customization based on drawings and samples. Capacity, size, spout specifications, wall thickness, and different materials can be customized according to customer needs.
- Is there a risk of slag shedding or material contamination?
No. Our spouted crucibles are high-temperature densified and fired, resulting in a high surface finish. Under normal operating conditions, they do not shed slag or accumulate material, effectively ensuring the purity of the molten material.
- Which high-temperature furnace equipment is it suitable for?
This product is suitable for muffle furnaces, box furnaces, tube furnaces, atmosphere furnaces, vacuum furnaces, induction melting furnaces, and various laboratory and industrial high-temperature heating equipment.
- Can non-standard sizes or special spout shapes be customized?
Yes. Our company supports custom orders based on provided drawings. We can process round crucibles (with spouts) with different diameters, capacities, and special spout designs according to customer needs.
