Description

1200°C Sliding (Rail) Horizontal Tube Furnace

The sliding (rail) horizontal tube furnace is an experimental and production equipment integrating vacuum, high temperature, atmosphere protection, and rapid cooling functions. The equipment adopts a sliding furnace body structure, which can quickly separate the heating zone from the sample under high-temperature conditions, achieving rapid cooling or quenching. Equipped with a vacuum system, atmosphere control system, and automatic rapid cooling device, the equipment has a maximum operating temperature of 1200°C and a cooling rate of over 200°C/min, meeting the requirements of rapid thermal cycling of materials and special heat treatment processes.

Product Features

  1. Automatic Furnace Body Translation for Rapid Cooling

After the electric furnace program completes, the furnace body automatically moves to one side along the track, simultaneously opening the inlet and outlet valves and initiating rapid purging of the furnace tubes to accelerate cooling. The cooling rate is ≥200℃/min, significantly shortening the process cycle and improving equipment turnover efficiency.

  1. Quenching Cooling Tank for Rapid High-Temperature Transfer

A liquid storage tank (capable of adding water or cooling oil) is equipped at the right end of the furnace tube, fitted with a DN80 high-vacuum butterfly valve. After the material is heated on the left side of the furnace tube, it can be quickly pushed into the cooling tank for quenching, achieving an integrated heating + quenching process. The cooling tank can be disassembled and removed when not in use.

  1. Dual-Use Vacuum and Atmosphere Functions for Wide Process Range

Equipped with a 2L/S vacuum pump and double rubber rings on both ends of the sealing flanges to achieve a vacuum seal. It can accommodate various gases (oxygen, nitrogen, argon, air, etc.) to meet the needs of various processes such as vacuum sintering, atmosphere protection, and reaction atmospheres.

  1. Uniform temperature field achieved by heating around the furnace tube.

The heating elements (high-temperature alloy resistance wire, containing molybdenum with a surface temperature of 1450℃) are installed around the furnace tube, arranged horizontally. The heating length is 400mm, the constant-temperature length is 200mm, and the temperature uniformity within the furnace is ±1℃.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  1. What is the difference between a sliding track tube furnace and a conventional tube furnace?

A sliding track tube furnace allows for rapid removal of the heating furnace body at high temperatures, enabling rapid cooling or quenching. Conventional tube furnaces typically rely on natural cooling, resulting in a slower cooling rate.

  1. What is the maximum cooling rate achievable?

Through a combination of track translation, gas purging, and an automatic ventilation system, the equipment can achieve a cooling rate exceeding 200℃/min, suitable for rapid heat treatment processes.

  1. Does it support vacuum and protective atmosphere experiments?

Yes. The equipment is equipped with a vacuum pump and a high-vacuum sealing system, allowing operation in vacuum, nitrogen, argon, and other protective atmospheres to meet the processing requirements of different materials.

  1. How does the quenching and cooling device work?

A liquid cooling tank is located on the right side of the equipment, which can be filled with water or cooling oil. High-temperature samples can be quickly introduced into the cooling medium via a pusher mechanism for rapid quenching. This feature can be omitted if the quenching function is not required.

  1. What materials are suitable for research using this equipment?

It is suitable for research on metallic materials, ceramic materials, lithium battery materials, electronic materials, magnetic materials, nanomaterials, and various functional materials requiring rapid heating/cooling or atmosphere protection treatment.
