Description
800°C Vacuum Furnace
This 800°C vacuum furnace features a vertical, externally heated resistance heating design, equipped with a 316L stainless steel inner chamber, metal heat shields, and a lifting sealed loading platform. It offers an operating temperature exceeding 800°C and a cold-state vacuum level better than 5×10⁻¹ Pa. The equipment supports both vacuum operation and inert gas protection, making it suitable for the heat treatment of metal materials, vacuum heating processes, and experimental work with new materials.
Product Features
- Vertical, externally heated structure with bottom-opening door
This equipment features a vertical structure with external resistance heating and consists of the furnace body, heating system, thermal insulation system, and inner liner. It utilizes a bottom-opening design equipped with a lifting, sealed loading platform, making loading and unloading convenient. The inner liner is made of 310L stainless steel; the unit supports vacuum operation and includes a connection port for a cooling fan.

- Metal inner liner and metal heat shields; clean and contamination-free
The furnace liner is constructed from 316L stainless steel, while the upper and lower furnace body sections are made of carbon steel with an external anti-rust coating (60–80 μm thick). The combination of a metal liner and metal heat shields—as opposed to traditional refractory fiber insulation—eliminates dust contamination, making the system ideal for vacuum heat treatment processes requiring high cleanliness standards.

- Operating temperature ≥800°C; adjustable heating rate
The operating temperature exceeds 800°C, and the heating rate is adjustable between 5°C and 20°C per minute. The cold-state vacuum level is better than 5 × 10⁻¹ Pa, and the pressure rise rate does not exceed 0.6 Pa/h.
- Nickel-chromium alloy strip heating elements; independent three-zone temperature control
The heating elements consist of 3 mm thick nickel-chromium alloy strips; featuring a low surface load, they withstand long-term high-temperature operation in an atmospheric environment. The elements are arranged in three zones—upper, middle, and lower—outside the furnace lining, with power distribution configured as “lower > middle > upper.”

- Sectional, independent insulation layer for easy maintenance
The insulation layer features a sectional, independent design corresponding to the upper, middle, and lower heaters, facilitating heater maintenance and replacement. Pre-embedded high-temperature ceramic studs are used to support and secure the heaters.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- What is the maximum operating temperature of this vacuum furnace?
The equipment can operate at temperatures exceeding 800°C. The heating rate is adjustable within the range of 5–20°C/min; actual heating performance depends on the load size and process conditions.
- What level of vacuum can be achieved?
The vacuum level in the cold state is better than 5 × 10⁻¹ Pa, and the pressure rise rate does not exceed 0.6 Pa/h.
- Does the equipment support inert gas protection?
Yes. The equipment is equipped with gas inlet and outlet ports, allowing for the introduction of inert gas to achieve a slight positive pressure after evacuation. Specific gas types, pressures, and operating procedures are determined by process requirements.
- What is the function of the three-zone heating and the four thermocouples?
Heating is controlled independently across the upper, middle, and lower zones, which helps regulate the temperature distribution within different areas of the furnace.
- What are the dimensions of the furnace chamber?
The specified dimensions are 900 × 600 × 1000.
